Stevie B. is a veteran performer whose career started in the City of Brotherly Love, better known as Philadelphia PA, the Birthplace of Democracy, American Bandstand, Rocky and the home of Liberty Bell.
He first appeared on local TV at the age of seven. Considered a child prodigy he rapidly became an attraction in the area culminating with an appearance at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, NJ.
His career progressed, and Stevie branched out all over the northeast United States. Still in his teens he went on to further his musical studies in Pittsburgh, Boston and New York. Eventually he settled in the Pocono Mountains on Pensylvania where he served as house pianist, conductor of the orchestra, and front man/lead vocalist with the house band for the world famous Mt Airy Lodge.
During his tenure there he performed with hundreds of legendary entertainers, including such notables as Julio Iglesias, Tony Bennett, the Spinners, the Platters, Chubby Checker, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, to name but a few.
Since those days he has formed a songwriting partnership with Phil Ramone and Mark Radice whose credits include Barbara Streisand, Barry Manilow, Paul Simon, Michael Bolton, Aerosmith and Billy Joel.
Stevie B. has performed across the United States including Las Vegas, Broadway and Hollywood. He participated in numerous world tours over the years as featured pianist/singer for the sound of Philadelphia, working with top pop, rock and soul acts such as the Mighty Clouds of Joy, Three Degrees, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, Leslie Gore, Tommy James and the Shondells. He was full time member of the Box Tops and the Classics 1V, Traces, Stormy and Spooky.
Stevie B. is a versatile entertainer. He plays piano, guitar, and variety of other instruments. His vocal ability to impersonate legendary singers is uncanny. He is a dynamic entertainer in every sense of the word. |
