David Brake has been a professional musician for 18 years, and a full-time piano player/entertainer for 10.
Qualifications include vocal studies at the University of Michigan with Professor John Mccollum and Dr. Sharon Radionoff in Houston, and piano-jazz studies with Professor Phil DeGreg in Cincinnati.
His professional experience includes touring with poups (The Heat and the Cold Sweat Horns and The Classics), recording artists, and comedians, as well as playing nightclubs in band, duo, and solo formats.
He has entertained at state fairs, casinos, resorts, cruise ships, sporting events, hotels, piano bars, and dueling piano bars across the country.
He was the lead piano player and Entertainment Director at City Streets nightclub in Houston, TX for 8 years.
David currently performs solo at the Ivory Cat Tavern in Austin on 6 street, and his group The Davld Brake Band in the Houston area.
