ANN LOUISE CHRISTENSEN

ANN LOUISE CHRISTENSEN - piano entertainer

Ann Louise started her piano studies at the age of 6 in Rochester, Minnesota at the Marguerite Hoffman Studios. She had 12 years of classical training, then expanded to more popular styles. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in French Literature from the University of Minnesota in 1984 then moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to study songwriting at the Grove School of Music.

She began working internationally as a vocal/piano solo act in 1989 and worked extensively in Japan, Europe, Scandinavia, Grand Cayman, as well as major cities in the United States.

In 1997, Ann Louise produced her first album of original piano compositions. In 2003, she published her first television commercial.

Ann was a staff pianist with Nordstrom department store for 10 years before moving back to Minneapolis where she is setting up her music studio, LANOTE Productions. She is the Music Director at Spirit In Action church in Golden Valley, and staff accompanist at Minnesota Dance Theatre and Ballet Arts Dance School.
